She graduated from Temple University around 1965, and lovely Veronica Hamel started her career as a fashion model. She also modeled for cosmetic ads. She started appearing on TV in 1975; at one point she was considered for one of the lead roles of the trio of crime-fighters on "Charlie's Angels," but declined the role. Veronica has appeared in many movies and had many guest appearances on TV shows, but is probably best remembered for playing Joyce Davenport in the long-running TV series "Hill Street Blues" from 1981-1987.
