Although we still have not figured out how Chesty got from Poland to Israel -- and finally to America -- one thing is for sure: It was definitely here that Chesty began her career as a cult film icon. Due to her "immense" popularity on the strip tease circuit in the 60's, Chesty came to the attention of filmmaker extraordinaire Doris Wishman. In 1973, Doris cast Chesty in the role of Krystal in the film Deadly Weapons -- which was a smashing success. In 1974, after having one bout of success with Chesty, Doris again sought her to portray the powerful, yet poignant sleuth in the film Double Agent 73. In 1976, following her success in Wishman's films, Chesty was asked to appear in the film Casanova -- directed by none other than Frederico Fellini (8 1/2, Satyricon). Though Chesty only made these three films (to my knowledge), this was not to be the end of her career by any means. In 1994, Chesty was discovered by a group of Chicago movie freaks who found her to be the end all of camp.
