It was with 1994's The Last Seduction that beautiful Linda came into her own; the movie won her acclaim, awards, and a similar part in Jade the next year. But Linda, treating each role as just another job, avoided typecasting by playing varied characters in Unforgettable (1996), Men in Black (1997), Dogma (1999), and Ordinary Decent Criminal (2000). Although she made a name for herself playing icy vixens on the big screen, in real life, Linda is shyer and not as aggressive. Of course, such a gulf between fact and fiction is testament to her considerable skills as an actress and her perceptive personality. Linda's fame reflects the accomplishments of her career. She remains most famous for her work in The Last Seduction, which catapulted her to the A-list for the rest of the 1990s, during which she enjoyed moderate renown. In recent years, however, as her output has lessened, Linda's fame has waned accordingly.
