I was kind of fat growing up and kids use to tease me and called me, “Fat Chink and Ugly”. I admit I was a big time Nerd! I had a big gap between my teeth, didn’t take care of my body, and definitely had no clue about fashion or style. But, I think every kid growing up has an awkward stage in there life. I started slimming down in college and started reading more fashion magazines and had friends that modeled. So, they helped me out a lot. I used to get upset when people would talk about me, behind or in my face. As I’ve matured I really don’t let anything bother me anymore. I’m more laid back. College was great. My undergraduate degree was in business accounting and management with a minor in journalism. I had a partial scholarship for journalism. Growing up I wanted to be the next Connie Chung! There are so many things that I want to do with my life. I’m fascinated with my present study of law and I would like to get my CPA for accounting. I haven’t decided yet! When I attended Florida Atlantic University I entered a beauty pageant, Miss Asia America. I won a five thousand dollar scholarship and a Bob Mackie gown. Upon winning, I decided to get some headshots of myself and I was referred to a photographer who suggested that I do a portfolio. I started shooting fashion and bikinis shots. I fell in the beauty pageants and modeling just to put myself through college. I used to enter the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Contest circuits to win money for school. Plus, I worked as a hostess at a sushi bar in Boca called Fuji and I did debt consolidation for a company called Kimberly Credit Counseling.
