Lewis has been turning heads since adolescence, receiving an Oscar nomination for her role in Cape Fear when she was 18. This was followed up with starring roles in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Natural Born Killers and From Dusk Till Dawn. Lewis was also strong in Showtime's My Louisiana Sky, and then returned to film for Enough, Old School and Cold Creek Manor. The self-revolving world of Hollywood would not be as exciting without Juliette Lewis. Throughout her career, she has lived through the highs and lows that Tinseltown is known to bring. She represents both how great and how destructive Hollywood can be and, as such, is always an interesting person to observe. Despite Lewis' rocky history, she has continually produced great work on film. With these successes, she has become somewhat of a dichotomy: a successful Hollywood "rebel," kind of like Winona Ryder. It is this quality, in addition to her amazing versatility, that helps place Lewis at the top of our list of favorite young actresses.
