Being the baby of the Jackson family, Janet still managed to make a name for herself. Much like the rest of her siblings Janet rose to fame, at the young age of seven she appeared on stage with her brothers the Jackson 5, by the time she was ten she began a sitcom acting career when she was cast for a role in Good Times. From there on she went to appearing on Diff'rent Strokes and A New Kind of Family. In 1982 her father pushed her into a singing career but none of her songs actually hit big. At the age of 18, Janet rebelled against her parents and eloped with a member of another musical family, singer James DeBarge. Needless to say the relationship didn't last very long and the marriage was annulled. While Janet was taking some time off, her father hired her a new manager, John McClain. After hardwork and determination "Control" was released on an album with other tracks from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. From there on out Janet was releasing hit after hit and was a role model for young women all over. Through out the years Janet spent her time touring and releasing new hits, but in 2004 there was a big uproar. While performing at halftime of Super Bowl XXXVIII Janet had a surprise guest, Justin Timberlake whom she performed a duet with. At the songs end Timberlake caused Janet's costume to tear, and exposed her breast on national TV to millions of viewers.
