The cinematic equivalent of royalty, she is the daughter of screen legend Ingrid Bergman and master director Roberto Rossellini. Isabella has a fraternal twin sister, Ingrid Aborne, and an elder brother, Roberto; she also has a half-sister, Pia Lindstrom. Even as her modeling career was at its peak, Isabella branched off into acting, and she has been a film presence for over 20 years. She's taken on unconventional roles most of the time, starting with her appearance in David Lynch's Blue Velvet (1986), which also won her an Independent Spirit Award.
