Iran started her acting career at the age of seven in some commercials, she then enrolled into the Martha Zavalte Arts Workshop. Her first taste of the Mexico's soap operas was at the age of twelve in "Angeles Blancos". At the same age she became a member of a teenage music group called "Mosquitas Muertas". Later she participated in a kids show called "El Club de Gaby". Iran continued her roles in different spanish soap operas and in 1997 decided to take a leap into the music industry. She released her first album "Tiempos Nuevos", recorded in Mexico City and it included ten pop hits. Iran has continued her acting career as well as her music career.
