After years with the internationally renowned soap opera, Hunter Tylo recently signed off of The Bold and the Beautiful in order to concentrate on future television projects (including a role in a primetime TV series). Prior to her time on Bold, Hunter worked the soap opera circuit with roles on All My Children and Days of Our Lives. Tylo also has some film experience, thanks to small roles in motion pictures like 1984's The Initiation and 1988's Final Cut. But her career has also had its share of controversy. Before starting her Melrose Place role in 1996, Tylo was fired for being pregnant. Believing she was wrongfully dismissed, Tylo took the producers of the show to court. Winning a multimillion-dollar lawsuit, the successful trial now serves as the basis for her own non-profit organization, Hunter's Chosen Child, which assists single mothers and pregnant teens with various difficulties.
