She began modeling at the age of 13 after entering the Elite Look of the Year contest. Fernanda has appeared on the covers of such fashion magazines as Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire, and she is represented by the Marilyn Modeling Agency. Also, she is best friends with fellow model Gisèle Bündchen and enjoys swimming and jogging. Signed with Marilyn in New York and Paris, Fernanda has posed for editorials in a slew of magazines on an international level, including Marie Claire US, Italy and Brazil; Elle France, Brazil and UK; Vogue US, France, Germany, and Italy; L'Officiel France; Cosmopolitan US and Brazil; Capricho Brazil; Harper's Bazaar US; and Allure US.
