Profession: Musician
Faith began singing in church at only a young age of two. As a high school honor student, she sang in her school's musical productions before earning a full scholarship to Fordham University. After only one year of college Faith left to pursue a career in the R&B industry. Not long after, Faith was able to find work as a back up singer and writing songs for artist like Mary J. Blige, Usher, Tony Thompson and other known artists. Due to her great work on Blige's 1994 album "My Life", Faith met Sean "Puffy" Combs who signed her up to his Bad Boy Label. In 1995 Faith released her self titled debut album, which went platinum. The same year her album hit, she met the Notorious B.I.G. and married him after only nine days. Shortly after their marriage she sang on a remix of his smash single "One More Chance". Over the next couple of years, Faith continued to work behind -the-scenes, performing and writing for records. In late 1996 Faith and Biggie had a son, Christopher Wallace Jr. but by then their marriage was already diminishing. Biggie had been publicly seen with Lil' Kim and rumors have it that Faith was involved with Biggie's rival 2Pac. The couple was not officially seperated when Biggie was shot and killed in March 1997. After the death of Biggie, Puff Daddy and Faith released a tribute single to Biggie titled "I'll Be Missing You" with The Police hook. Faith continued to release R&B hits including "Love Like This", "All Night Long" and "Never Gonna Let You Go". She began dating and eventually wed Todd Rusaw who helped her manage her career.
