Recently, Neal starred in the highly anticipated John Singleton film, “Hustle and Flow” which was released by Paramount Classics in July 2005. The film first screened at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival where it won The Prestigious Sundance Audience Award. Elise stars as "Ivette", the long suffering wife of Anthony Andersons character "Key". "Hustle and Flow" marks the second time Elise worked with John Singleton. Most recently, Neal starred in the UPN comedy series “All of Us,” executive produced by Will Smith and Jada Pinket Smith. Neal will next be seen in the independent film “Playas Ball” opposite Allen Payne and in the film “Sacred” opposite Nas where Neal also performs a song for the soundtrack. Neal is most recognized for her role of Yvonne Hughley in the television series “The Hughleys,” which garnered her two NAACP Awards nominations.
