I was born and raised in North Carolina, always a little shy -- until the day I made my decision to send some informal photos of myself to Playboy magazine. I had never really considered modeling before, and I haven't done any since, but I had always enjoyed looking at the beautiful women in my dad's Playboys. I was in college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro when I decided, on a whim, to send in those photos. I needed money to buy a car for school anyway. Within a week, Playboy called and I was on my way to Chicago for a test shoot with Pompeo Posar. This alone was a big leap in independence -- my first time on a plane!
