Cash Casia fronts an all male, hard core, yet classic & original sounding rock band. Cash grew up listening to Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin in her Dads truck. When she was just a kid she saw her first concert (Pink Floyd) by sneaking off the back lot of a movie set she was working on in Rome, Italy. This only encouraged for her passion for singing and writing music. Today, some of her favorite artists include Audio Slave, The Killers and Queens of the Stone Age. Cash's sultry voice hints of blues and at times evinces shades of a young Patti Smith when once again her vocals go from a whisper to a wail. When writing, Cash likes to combine sounds that you don't expect to hear. For instance: if you could cross breed sounds reminiscent of Iron Maiden, Gypsy Kings, Weezer and Liza Minnelli, what sort of rock n roll stepchild from hell
might mutate into existence? Cash's spur-of-the-moment writing style reflects whatever concerns her at the moment.
