Profession: Actress
In 1995, she is elected Miss Italy and for the next year she lives a heavy and busy schedule which shortly drives her to ripen and become a determined professional. Following this period, she accepts a few jobs in the fashion sector and she turns for a short time to television, until she decides to take up an acting career and therefore attends the famous acting course managed by Beatrice Bracco at the Teatro Blu. For a whole year she retires from the scene to study, thereby cutting her professional commitments to a minimum. In 1997 she appears in a short film Le due bamboline rosse, directed by Alessandro Ingargiola. The year 2000 marks two important milestones in Anna’s career: her first international production, Aeon, for the German channel SAT 1, directed by H. Neuhauser (it comes out the following year), and the notorious TV costume drama Cuore (MEDIASET TV), directed by Maurizio Zaccaro and starring Leo Gullotta and Giulio Scarpati. Thanks to this production, in 2002, Anna wins the sought-after TV prize statuette, the Telegatto. Anna has never stopped studying drama, by attending various seminars held by Michael Margotta at every available opportunity, as well as taking private lessons with Geraldine Baron, both members of the New York Actor Studio. Since the beginning of 2005, she has become a member of the Actor Center in Rome. She is also continually studying two foreign languages: English and French.
