I graduated from The University of Texas in Austin (go Horns!) with a Journalism degree. After graduation, I went to work in public relations and marketing and HATED it! I vowed to follow my dream (to act and travel) and to enjoy every step of the journey - wherever that may lead. My first real break was on the set of "8 Seconds". I had a bit part (as a reporter) that ultimately didn't make it in the film, but I became good friends with Luke Perry and his wife who were instrumental in my transition from Texas to LA. In 1995, I packed my car with whatever would fit, moved to LA and have been loving it ever since. It is definitely home. I have always tried to be professional, do my best, learn as much as I can along the way and most importantly, not take myself or this business too seriously.
